Hi folks,

~ 2009 Rally sponsored by Caleb Roberts Insurance Services Ltd
Well done to all of you who took part in the Rally. What an excellent day. A big thank you to the Lewis Family, Trewern and to Radnor Valley Club for hosting the rally and for their hard work beforehand. Congratulations to Rhayader YFC who have now won the Rally, five years on the trot. Something which hasn’t been done before.

~ Attendance Sheets
Could the following please send in their attendance sheets as soon as possible:
Aberedw, Cantal, Howey, Knighton (none since January), Penybont, Teme Valley.

~ Club AGM’s
Could you all send in your AGM dates, times and venues so that we can make sure you have a county representative present. Also please ensure that you have a set of audited and signed set of clubs accounts at the AGM, otherwise the AGM will not be able to go ahead.

~ County Vice Chairman
The nominations for County Vice Chairman are Avril Hardwick from Llanbadarn Fynydd YFC and Jonathan Williams from Presteigne YFC. Clubs will need to discuss who they want to vote for and then send their three Executive Committee reps to the Exec AGM to vote, the meeting will be held on Tuesday 3rd September at Quackers.

~ Club Programmes
You need to start to think about your club programme ready for September. County will print them for you. I am able to come and help you sort one out, and if I can’t come, one of the other County Officials will. The success of a good club usually stems from the programme it offers. This year Powys County Council Youth Department want all the club programmes to be included on their database, so you will all have to make a very special effort.

~ Club Representatives at County Meetings
Could you please send in the names of your new club reps to go on county committees as soon as possible after your club AGM’s.

~ Holidays
I will be on Holiday for a fortnight now; the office will be open as much as possible, so please bear with us.

Good luck to all of those representing the county at the Royal and Royal Welsh Show, I am sure you will all do the county proud.
