On Sunday 22nd September our Annual Stockjudging Day was held at Bryndu, Llanbadarn Fynydd by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Watson & family. Members from across the County judged and placed 4 different types of livestock and also completed an Animal Heath Questionnaire in a bid to take home the ‘Stockman of the Year’ title.
Well done to James Nixon, Rhayader YFC for winning Senior Stockman of the Year and to Jack Nixon, Dolau YFC for taking home the Junior Stockman of the Year title.
We would also like to thank Mr & Mrs Lewis, Abergwenlas and Mr N Davis, Esgairdraenllwyn for providing the venue and stock for the Beef & Dairy competitions.
