Hi there everyone

There is a first Aid training course running in Llandrindod Wells Youth Centre on Saturday 6th December from 9am till 5pm.

The course is a one day course to introduce a systematic method of first aid. The course mixes theory and practical learning with a practical scenario.

Award/Qualification - Emergency First Aid Certificate valid for 3 years.

The course costs £15 but as long as you are a paid up Radnor YFC member it will be free.

If anybody wants any more info, or book onto the course, I will need to know here in the office by Friday 14th November.

Severn Challenge
The 3 federations (Montgomery, Radnor and Brecknock YFC’s) are hoping to do a ‘Severn Challenge’ that is canoe the River Severn. We have had one meeting when the very basics were discussed. We have now got to ask if any and how many members would be interested in doing this challenge. The members to do the canoeing would have to be over 18 but the helpers in the ‘back up crew’ can be under 18. The members canoeing will have to canoe the whole of the river. So far only 2 members have shown some interest.

Anybody out there fancy taking photos for County (with the county camera), putting them on our web site and keeping it updated. Training will be arranged if needed. We need to keep the web site up to date. If anybody wants any more information, please give the county office a ring or send an e-mail.
